I n t he navigat ion panel, click Configur a t ion > Por t > PoE > Globa l t o display t he screen as
shown. Use t his screen t o configure Power over Et hernet ( PoE) global set t ings.

Use t his screen t o view Swit ch port PoE set t ings and select port s for configurat ion. Click

Select t he power m anagem ent m ode you want t he Swit ch t o use.
• Cla ssifica t ion - Select t his if you want t he Swit ch t o reserve t he Max Power ( m W) t o
each PD according t o t he priorit y level. I f t he t ot al power supply runs out , PDs wit h
lower priorit y do not get power t o funct ion.
• Con su m pt ion - Select t his if you want t he Swit ch t o m anage t he t ot al power supply so
t hat each connect ed PD get s a resource. However, t he power allocat ed by t he Swit ch
m ay be less t han t he Max Power ( m W) of t he PD. PDs wit h higher priorit y also get m ore
power t han t hose wit h lower priorit y levels.
This field is only available on GS1900- 8HP ( Revision B1) and GS1900- 10HP only.
Select En a ble t o have t he Swit ch pre- allocat e pow er t o each port based on t he
classificat ion of t he PD device. Ot herwise, select D isa ble .

Select En a ble t o allow PoE port s t o be powered up one- by- one random ly or D isa ble t o
allow t hem all t o be powered up at t he sam e t im e.
Click Apply t o save t he changes.
