Displays t he list of port index num bers t hat are being configured.
PD St at e
Select En a ble t o provide power t o a PD connect ed t o t he port or D isa ble so t he port
cannot receive power from t he Swit ch.
PD Priorit y
This field is not available for t he SFP or SFP+ port s.
When t he t ot al power request ed by t he PDs exceeds t he t ot al PoE power budget on t he
Swit ch, you can set t he PD priorit y t o allow t he Swit ch t o provide power t o port s wit h higher
priorit y.
Select Cr it ica l t o give t he PD connect ed t o t his port t he highest priorit y.
Select H igh t o set t he Swit ch t o assign t he rem aining pow er t o t he port aft er all crit ical
priorit y port s are served.
Select M e dium t o set t he Swit ch t o assign t he rem aining power t o t he port aft er all crit ical
and high priorit y port s are served.
Select Low t o set t he Swit ch t o assign t he rem aining power t o t he port aft er all crit ical,
high and m edium priorit y port s are served.
Power- Up
Set how t he Swit ch provides power t o a connect ed PD at power- up.

power t o t he connect ed PDs during power- up.
Le ga cy - t he Swit ch can provide power t o t he connect ed PDs t hat require high inrush
current s at power- up.

st andard, and t hen swit ches t o support t he I EEE 802.3at st andard wit hin 75 m illiseconds
aft er a PD is connect ed t o t he port . Select t his opt ion if t he Swit ch is perform ing 2- event
Layer- 1 classificat ion ( PoE+ hardware classificat ion) or t he connect ed PD is NOT perform ing
Layer 2 power classificat ion using Link Layer Discovery Prot ocol ( LLDP) .
8 0 2 .3 a t - t he Swit ch support s t he I EEE 802.3at High Power over Et hernet st andard and
can supply power of up t o 30W per Et hernet port . I EEE 802.3at is also known as PoE+ or
PoE Plus. An I EEE 802.3at com pat ible device is referred t o as Type 2. Power Class 4 ( High
Power) can only be used by Type 2 devices. I f t he connect ed PD requires a Class 4 current
when it is t urned on, it will be powered up in t his m ode.
