6-3. Using the storage features
Deck board (vehicles without full-size spare tire)
When loading long luggage, the deck board can be laid flat over the
space between the deck board and separator.

Folding down the rear seatbacks. (→P. 148)

Lift the nearest side of the deck
board up and pull the deck
board forward.

Lift the opposite side of the
deck board up and return the
nearest side to its original posi-
tion.

Lay the opposite side of the
deck board over the edge of the
separator.
WARNING
Take extra care to prevent your fingers, etc., from being caught while per-
forming these procedures.
