Detailed Settings of FAX Functions > Fax reception functions

[Media Type]

Specify the paper type to be used for print output of the received fax.
For detailed information on the settings on the tab, refer to the following:

Setting the cassette for the print output of received faxes
By specifying the media type, faxes can be received on the corresponding cassette.

Display the screen.
[System Menu/Counter] key > [Cassette/MP Tray Settings] > [Cassette 1-3].
Select the cassette that you want to use for fax reception.

Selecting the paper size.
Inch models: [Auto] > [Inch]
Metric models: [Auto] > [Metric]
IMPORTANT
• Set the paper sizes that can be used for fax reception to the following setting. [Auto] > [Metric]
• If you fix the paper size, received faxes cannot be printed.

Configure paper settings for fax reception. When selecting the media type, select the same media type as you
selected in step 3.

[Reduce RX Size]
When the reception size is larger than the paper size, you can reduce the print size.

Reduced RX Size (8-10)
Print the received data at 100% of the original size by dividing it into several sheets of paper.
On Print the received data by reducing the original size according to the paper size.
