Looking up Words

Your nook has Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary installed in your Library. It is
permanent (a Reference item) and is visible when you view all items or eBooks.
You can look up words while reading. You can also open the dictionary from your Library and
look up words.
You can look up words, not phrases. However, the dictionary does define some phrases. For
example, if you look up "carry," the phrases "carry a torch," "carry the ball," and "carry the day"
are also defined.
To look up a word:
1
Select the word you want to look up using the D-pad controller. Pressing
Up/Down/Right/Left on the D-pad controller will move the selection from word to word
indicating the currently selected word.
