Removing a microSD card
To remove a microSD card:

Press the power button for 5-9 seconds to turn off your nook.

Remove the back cover.

Place your nook on a flat surface with the open back facing up and the top away from you.

The microSD card holder has a little metal cover. A rounded, cut-out area below the cover
allows you to insert a finger nail. With your finger nail, lift up on the bottom edge of the
metal cover, until the cover points straight up. This reveals the microSD card.

Pick up your nook. Holding it over the table, turn it over so the front is up. The microSD
card will fall out and land on the table. Pick it up and put it somewhere.

With a finger, close the metal cover until it lies flat and you feel a click.

Replace the back cover.

Power on your nook.
Changing microSD Cards
If you decide to change the microSD card in your nook (take one out you are currently using
and put a different one in), note the following:
For personal content on the microSD card, you
USB connection to a personal computer. Using a file explorer, copy or move the content
to your personal computer. After inserting the new microSD card in your nook, copy or
move the content to the new microSD card in your nook. Copying is a better idea than
moving, because you have backup copies. After you have verified that the copy operation
succeeded, you could delete unneeded files.
