8. Measure:
• Engine idling speed
Out of specification → Adjust.
Make sure that the vacuum pressure is within
specification.
9. Stop the engine and remove the measuring
equipment.
10.Connect:
• Intake air pressure sensor hose
• Cap
11.Install:
• Air filter case
Refer to "GENERAL CHASSIS" on page 4-1.
12.Adjust:
• Throttle grip free play
Refer to "CHECKING THE THROTTLE GRIP
OPERATION" on page 3-24.

The following procedure applies to all of the ex-
haust pipes and gaskets.
1. Check:
• Exhaust pipe joint "1"
• Exhaust pipe "2"
• Muffler "3"
• Gaskets "4", "5"
Exhaust gas leaks → Replace.
2. Check:
Tightening torque
• Exhaust pipe joint nuts "6"
• Exhaust pipe nuts "7"
• Exhaust pipe bolts "8"
• Muffler bracket and frame bolt "9"
• Muffler bracket and Engine bracket (rear low-
er side) bolts "10"
• Muffler and exhaust bolt "11"
• Muffler bracket and muffler bolts "12"
