Using the Smart Remote with an
OptiFiber

You can use a DTX Series smart remote with a
DTX-MFM2 or DTX-SFM2 fiber module as the remote for a
Fluke Networks OptiFiber Certifying OTDR. The DTX
remote takes the place of a second OptiFiber tester for
measuring loss and length with the OptiFiber loss/length
option in Smart Remote mode. You can buy a smart
remote separately for this purpose. See the Fluke
Networks website or contact Fluke Networks for details.
