Replacing External Fans (FAN-0116L4)
1. Two additional fans located on the outside of the back of the chassis are
included to help cool the passive GPU cards used in the system. Visually
inpect the fans to determine which one has failed. The chassis does not need
to be powered-down when replacing these fans.
2. Press the fan release tab and pull the failed fan from the housing that it sits in
at the back of the chassis. See Figure 6-5.
3. Place the new fan into the vacant space in the housing while making sure
the arrows on the top of the fan (indicating air direction) point in the same
direction as the arrows on the other fans. Push the fan into the housing until it
clicks into place. As soon as the fan is connected, it will be activated.
