Level
You can save system log messages with a UNIX system logging facility.
To configure a UNIX logging facility level, use the following command.
Specify one of the following parameters.
CONFIGURATION mode
logging facility [facility-type]
auth (for authorization messages)
cron (for system scheduler messages)
daemon (for system daemons)
kern (for kernel messages)
local0 (for local use)
local1 (for local use)
local2 (for local use)
local3 (for local use)
local4 (for local use)
local5 (for local use)
local6 (for local use)
local7 (for local use)
lpr (for line printer system messages)
mail (for mail system messages)
news (for USENET news messages)
sys9 (system use)
sys10 (system use)
