Manually Monitoring RADIUS Servers or Groups

To manually send a test message to a RADIUS server or to a server group, perform this task:

switch# test aaa server radius
{ipv4-address | ipv6-address |
server-name} [vrf vrf-name] username
password

switch# test aaa group group-name username
password
The following example shows how to manually send a test message to a RADIUS server:
switch# test aaa server radius 10.10.1.1 user1 Ur2Gd2BH
switch# test aaa group RadGroup user2 As3He3CI
Verifying RADIUS Configuration
To display RADIUS configuration information, perform one of the following tasks:
Command
show running-config radius [all]
show startup-config radius
show radius-server [server-name | ipv4-address |
ipv6-address] [directed-request | groups | sorted
| statistics]

Displaying RADIUS Server Statistics

To display the statistics the Cisco Nexus 5000 Series switch maintains for RADIUS server activity,
perform this task:

Sends a test message to a RADIUS server to confirm
availability.

parameters.
Purpose
Displays the RADIUS statistics.
