2.3 Power Supply Troubleshooting
DC IN icon
Lights green
Blinks orange
Doesn't light
If the icon blinks, execute the followings:
1. Remove the battery and AC adapter to cut power supply to the computer.
2. Reinstall the battery and AC adapter.
If the LED still blinks, perform the followings:
Check 1
Check 2
Check 3
CAUTION: Use a recommended AC adapter (G71C00043210/G71C00049210).

DC power is being supplied from the AC adapter.
There is a problem with the power supply.*1
Any condition other than those above.
*1 When the power supply controller detects a malfunction, the DC IN LED
blinks orange and an error code is displayed.
If the DC IN icon blinks orange, go to Procedure 2.
If the DC IN icon does not light, go to Procedure 3.
If the battery icon does not light orange or green, go to Procedure 4.
