Installing an external parallel interface

CAUTION!
Keep the rear cover of the PCI slot for future use. If you remove the
controller again and do not replace it with a new one, the rear cover
must be reinstalled to comply with EMC regulations and to satisfy
cooling requirements and fire protection measures.

Ê Insert the slot cover with the parallel interface into slot 7.
Ê Fasten the slot cover with a screw.
Ê Connect the cable to the system board (see arrow).
Ê Route the cable as shown in the picture directly upon the system board.
