Observe the safety instructions in the

Removing the server form the rack

Ê Terminate all applications and shut down the server correctly.
Ê If your operating system has not switched off the sever, press the on/off
switch.
Ê Pull all power connectors out of the power outlets.

Depending on the accessibilty it is helpfully to remove the server from the
rack. If you don't want to remove the server from the rack then skip the
following section.

Ê Loosen the four knurled screws (1) and pull the server as far as possible out
of the rack.
Ê Disconnect all cables on the rear of the server.
