Description
DTR (CT108/2) behavior
DTR (CT108/2) behavior - Monitoring on/off transitions of the RS232 DTR line of the PC.
DTR is ignored. Allows the operation with PCs that do not run DTR.
AT&D0
A DTR on/off transition causes the modem to react as if it had received
AT&D1
an abort sequence +++. The modem switches to the input mode
without hanging up.
A DTR on/off transition causes the modem to hang up. Going off-hook
AT&D2
automatically is not possible (default).
A DTR on/off transition causes the modem to perform a reset as if an
AT&D3
ATZ command had been executed. A preceded AT&Y command decides
if either the default 1 or 2 is loaded.
Activate/deactivate V.42bis data compression
Deactivates V.42bis data compression
AT+DS=0
Activates V.42bis data compression (default)
AT+DS=3
Activate/deactivate V.44 data compression
Deactivates V.44 data compression
AT+DS44=0
Activates V.44 data compression (default)

Command entry Echo
This command toggles the responses, which the modem creates as reactions from PC
commands (Echo).

Automatic Retrain
When transmission problems occur, the modem executes a retrain procedure. After
three unsuccessful retrain attempts, the modem will hang up.

Fall back, fall forward allowed (default)

Fast fall back, fall forward. Is not supported by all modem types.
AT%E3
Terminate remote configuration
The command AT*E terminates a remote configuration.
Loading the default factory settings
The modem loads the default factory setting from the internal, nonvolatile memory.
This puts the modem into a defined basic state. AT&F also overwrites a part of the S
registry.
The modems may show two default factory settings (AT&F0, AT&F1).
