ENGINE 3-10
• Remove the camshaft
and camshaft sprocket .
CAUTION
Do not drop the cam chain into the crankcase.
• Remove the C-ring
CAUTION
Do not drop the C-ring into the crankcase.
• Remove the cylinder head nuts diagonally.
• Remove the cylinder head by removing the cylinder
head nuts
NOTE:
If the cylinder head does not come off, lightly tap on the
finless portion of it with a plastic mallet.
• Remove the cylinder head gasket
and dowel pins.
• Remove the cam chain guide
• Remove the cylinder by removing the nuts.
NOTE:
If the cylinder does not come off, lightly tap on the Unless
portion of it with a plastic mallet to make the gasketed joint
loose.
