3. Remove the computer stand. See "Replacing the computer stand" on page 89.
4. Remove the computer cover. See "Removing the computer cover" on page 94.
5. Locate the integrated camera. See "Major FRUs and CRUs" on page 31.
6. Make a record the routing of the integrated camera cable. Then, disconnect the cable from the system
board. See "Parts on the system board" on page 34.
7. Remove the two screws that secure the integrated camera. Then, lift the integrated camera to remove
the camera from the computer.

8. Position the integrated camera over the LCD front bezel so that the screw holes in the camera align
with the corresponding holes in the front bezel. Then, install the two screws to secure the integrated
camera to the front bezel.
9. Connect the integrated camera cable to the new integrated camera. See "Parts on the system board"
on page 34.

Completing the parts replacement

After completing the installation or replacement for all parts, reinstall the computer cover and reconnect
cables. Depending on the parts you installed or replaced, you might need to confirm the updated information
in the Setup Utility program. Refer to "Using the Setup Utility program" on page 63.
To reinstall the computer cover and reconnect cables to your computer, do the following:
1. Ensure that all components have been reassembled correctly and that no tools or loose screws are
left inside your computer. See "Computer components" on page 29 for the locations of various
components in your computer.
2. Ensure that the cables are routed correctly before reinstalling the computer cover. Keep cables clear of
the hinges and sides of the computer chassis to avoid interference with reinstalling the computer cover.
