7. Loosen the seven screws
remove the screw
Note: Carefully loosen the seven screws
system board. The seven screws cannot be removed from the heat sink.

8. Lift the failing heat sink to remove it from the chassis.
Note: Do not touch the thermal grease while handling the heat sink.
9. Position the new heat sink on the chassis so that the eight screws are aligned with the holes in the
system board and chassis.
10. Tighten the screws
the new heat sink to the chassis. Do not over-tighten the screws.
