After verifying the presence of the appropriate standards, the analyzer performs a
temperature stabilization. After the temperature has stabilized, the blank and each
standard is analyzed in the proper sequence.
Once all the bottles have been analyzed, the analyzer compares the current
results to the factory calibration. If the change in slope is greater than ±15%, the
results are rejected.
The dialog box displays the current status of the test and lists the results of each
repetition and bottle as it is running.
Cancel icon allows you to cancel the test while it is in progress. If you cancel the
test, the analyzer turns off the pump and UV lamp, closes all valves, and notifies
you that the test has been cancelled.
When the calibration is completed, the test summary results box appears, with a
message informing you that the bottles are being backflushed. See
Note: Immediately upon completion of the test the bottles are backflushed and allowed to equilibrate
to ambient pressure. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REMOVE THE BOTTLES UNTIL THE BACKFLUSH
AND PRESSURE EQUALIZATION IS COMPLETE.
