Configuring AC Voltage and Current Measurements

For ac voltage and current measurements, your configuration menu
choices are: AC FILTER, RANGE, NULL and NULL VALUE.
• AC FILTER: Allows you to select one of three choices (SLOW, MEDIUM or
• RANGE: Allows you to let the multimeter automatically select the range
• NULL: Allows you to enable (select ON) or disable (select OFF) the null
• NULL VALUE: Allows you to view and edit the null value.

Configuring Resistance Measurements

For 2–wire and 4–wire resistance measurements, your configuration menu
choices are: INTEGRATION, RANGE, OFFSET COMP, AUTO ZERO, NULL and NULL VALUE.
• INTEGRATION: Allows you to set the integration time for the measurement
• RANGE: Allows you to let the multimeter automatically select the range
• OFFSET COMP: Allows you to enable (select ON) or disable (select OFF) the
• AUTO ZERO: Allows you to enable for all readings (select ON), enable for
• NULL: Allows you to enable (select ON) or disable (select OFF) the null
• NULL VALUE: Allows you to view and edit the null value.

offset compensation feature. With offset compensation enabled, the
multimeter makes a normal resistance measurement first, followed by a
second measurement to determine any offset voltage in the input
circuitry. The resultant displayed measurement corrects for this offset.
Enabling offset compensation increases measurement time.

taken, to prevent offset voltages in the multimeter's input circuitry from
affecting measurement accuracy.
