Disassembling and assembling rear Ilid

Adjust lid to the hinges,
lock parts and rubber buf.
fers in accordance with
the contours of the con-
vertible-top compartment
lid and the side sections.
Screw in rubber buffers.
2 Rubber buffer
2 Remove rubber buffers by
turning them.

Combination screw M6 x 12 2 Unscrew

Upper part of lock

Remove upper part of lock
from lid.
5 8 Loosen fastening screws
and remove lid from vehicle.
Combination screw M6 x 14
Tightening torque
10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)
Fasten upper part of lock
to the lid with the combi-
nation screws and adjust
to the lower part of lock.
Lay lid on the hinges and
screw tight.

Hinge left
1 Loosen combination screws
M6x 14.
Adjust to the left side sec-
tion in accordance with
lid contour.

Hinge right

Loosen combination screws
M6 x 14.
8 Plug connection

Disconnect cable-harness
plug connection.
Press Bowden cable out of
holder.
Adjust to the right side
section in accordance
with lid contour.
Connect cable-harness
plug connection.
Press Bowden cable into
holder.
