The engine control unit has di-
agnosed a fault. The engine
is in the emergency-operation
mode. In exceptional cases, the
engine stops and can no longer
be started.
Continued driving is possible,
however the accustomed en-

gine output and speed range
may not be available.
Have the malfunction corrected
as soon as possible at an
authorized service facility,
preferably an authorized
BMW Motorrad Dealer.
Light source for taillight
defective
General warning light shows
yellow.
! LAMPR
is indicated.
A defective light source
places your safety at risk,
as the motorcycle can be more
easily overlooked by other road
users.
Replace defective light sources
as quickly as possible.

The diode taillight must be re-
placed. Please contact a spe-

an authorized BMW Motorrad
