Each time the INFO button is pressed, the RDS mode is
changed as follows:
PS (Program service name)
When you select PS, the station's name will be dis-
played. If there is no PS data, "NO PS" will be displayed.
PTY (Program type)
When you select PTY, the program type will be
displayed.
If there is no PTY data, "NO PTY" will be displayed.
RT (Radio text)
When you select RT, up to 64 characters of information
transmitted by the station will be displayed.
If there is no RT data, "NO TEXT" will be displayed.
CT (Clock time)
When you select CT, the clock time provided from the
station will be displayed.
If there is no CT data, "NO CT" will be displayed.
o After viewing the CT, press the INFO button again to
show the frequency.
RDS Clock Time (CT)
The clock setting will be automatically adjusted
according to the CT data.
If you tune in an RDS station broadcasting incorrect
CT data, the clock could be set incorrectly, and this
could affect timer operation.
No matter which RDS mode is selected, the unit
receives CT data and adjusts the clock.
To turn the CT mode on and off, press and hold
the INFO button for more than two seconds,
then press a TUNING button (j/k) to select on
or off.
