(4) Rectangular stitching pattern

) Press rectangular sttchng pattern swtch 1 on the control panel to select the rectangular sttchng pattern.
2) The rectangular sttchng pattern s selected. Now, the predetermned number of sttches and other sewng
data are shown on the control panel.
3) To change the number of sttches of the processes n the rectangular sttchng pattern, operate swtches 5
(for processes C and D) to change the number of sttches for processes C and D.
Select the reverse feed sttchng accordngly. To change the number of reverse-feed sttches, operate
swtches 4 for settng the number of sttches for processes A and B.
(Adjustable range : A, B = 0 to 9 sttches, C, D = 0 to 99 sttches)
4) Four different kinds of stitching patterns can be performed according to the combination of ON/OFF set-
tngs of automatc reverse sttchng (for start) swtch 2 and automatc reverse sttchng (for end) swtch 3 .
5) Furthermore, the double reverse stitching mode can be specified by operating double reverse stitching (for
start) swtch 6 and double reverse sttchng (for end) swtch 7 .
At each step the sewng machne automatcally stops after sewng the predetermned number of sttches.
At this time, if the touch-back switch is operated, the sewing machine runs at a low speed (stitch compen-
saton operaton). Also, at the last process, f the pedal s returned to ts neutral poston and depressed ts
front part agan, the sewng can be contnued regardless of the settng of number of sttches.
6) If automatc thread trmmng swtch 8 s turned ON, the sewng machne wll automatcally perform thread
trmmng after the completon of the last process. (If the automatc reverse sttchng (for end) s selected,
the sewing machine will automatically perform thread trimming after it finishes the automatic reverse stitch-
ng (for end).)
7) If thread trmmng prohbtng functon 9 s chosen, the machne wll stop wth the needle up wthout per-
formng thread trmmng.
8) If one-shot automatc sttchng functon !0 s chosen, the machne wll automatcally perform sewng at a
stretch until the number of stitches specified is reached, at the predetermined sewing speed by depressing
the pedal whle the sewng machne s engaged n the sewng of process C or D. The machne performs
thread trmmng n the last process of one-shot automatc sttchng pattern.
9) For the sewng machne equpped wth an auto-lfter, the presser foot wll automatcally go up after the com-
pleton of each sewng process.
