Read "Safety Instructions" of the Instruction Manual for the control box carefully beforehand and understand them before using CP-180. HOW TO OPERATE THE CONTROL PANEL FOR SEWING STITCHING PATTERNS (1) Reverse stitching pattern ) Press reverse sttchng pattern swtch 1 to specfy the reverse sttchng pattern. 2) The reverse sttchng pattern s selected, and the number of sttches and data on reverse sttchng which have already been specified are shown on the panel.
  • Page 8 (2) Constant-dimension stitching pattern ) Press constant-dmenson sttchng pattern swtch 1 on the control panel to select the constant-dmenson sttchng pattern. 2) The constant-dmenson sttchng pattern s selected. Now, the predetermned number of sttches and the state of reverse sttchng func- ton are shown on the control panel.

    8. ONE-TOUCH SETTING A part of functon settng tems can be easly changed n the normal sewng state. WARNING : For the setting of functions other than those covered in this part, refer to "Instruction manual for the SC-920". < One-touch setting procedure > ) Keep swtch 1 held pressed one second to en- ter the functon settng mode.

    13. KEY LOCK FUNCTION In order to prevent the specified data on the number of stitches or the processes (A, B, C and D) to be changed by mistake, the setting switch can be locked. (Even with the setting keys locked, the pattern to be sewn and the value on the bobbn thread counter can be changed.) ) After the completon of the settng of data on the number of sttches, etc., turn OFF the power to the ma- chne once.
