SELECTING THE REVERSE GEAR
SHIMS
NOTE:
• Find the reverse gear shim thickness
(T2) by measuring the backlash.
• Measure the backlash with the original
shim(s).
• If the original shim(s) is unavailable,
start with a 0.50 mm shim.
Available shim thickness
0.10, 0.12, 0.15, 0.18, 0.30, 0.40
and 0.50 mm
