Overview
This chapter provides the technical specifications for the MS-120XFZY scanner.
Scan Angle Selection
The MS-120XFZY scanner supports two pre-set scan angles:
30° and 42°.
Selecting Scan Angle via SSI
To use SSI to select the scan angle (see
Simple Serial Interface (SSI) (MS-1204/MS-2204
Only)
on page 14-1), issue the SSI PARAM_SEND command with the
NUM_SCAN_ANGLE (191) parameter number. This can be set to either
NARROW_ANGLE (181) or NORMAL_ANGLE (182).
Selecting Scan Angle via Parameter Bar Code
The scan angle can also be set by scanning a parameter bar code (see
Scanning Options
on page 9-12). Once the parameter bar code is scanned, that scan angle setting is retained.
Operation in Blink Mode
The scan angle during Blink Mode is determined by the scan angle system parameter.
