If embroidering onto material which is smaller than
the hoop size, or when embroidering close to the
edge of material, attach the stabilizer as illustrated.
WHEN EMBROIDERING ALONG THE EDGE OF
MATERIAL SUCH AS A HANDKERCHIEF
WHEN EMBROIDERING A NARROW PIECE OF
FABRIC SUCH AS RIBBON TAPE
 Use two layers of interfacing if required by the material.
 Always use a layer of stabilizer which is bigger than the
hoop being used. (The stabilizer will not work properly
unless it is clamped by the hoop together with the material
being embroidered.).
 Stabilizer can usually be obtained from a fabric store.
Stabilizer is available in several different types, from thin
to thick. Purchase whichever type suits your embroidering
needs. It is generally recommended that the weight of the
stabilizer be similar to that of the fabric.

L'entoilage en vente dans le commerce est disponible en
différents types plus ou moins épais. Achetez le type qui
convient à la broderie que vous voulez effectuer. Il est
recommandé généralement d'utiliser un entoilage d'une
épaisseur équivalente au tissu.
