MANUAL BUTTONHOLE

* Use the automatic buttonhole foot up to 1 3/4 "(45 mm) in length,
but don't lower the buttonhole lever or a beep will sound.
* Use the satin foot to create larger buttonholes.
* Carefully mark the buttonhole length on your garment. Place
the fabric with the buttonhole marked under the buttonhole
foot. Slide the foot forward so that the needle pierces the
fabric at the beginning of the buttonhole.
PROCEDURE
1. Start the machine to form first bartack and left side of
buttonhole.
2. Sew second bartack and stitch backward until needle
reaches beginning of buttonhole.
3. Stitch forward to the end of buttonhole mark to complete
buttonhole.
4. Push the reverse stitch button to tie off the stitches.
NOTE: If stitch length is manually set at 0.75 (mm) for
step 1, set the stitch length at 0.75 (mm) for step 3 as
well.
BOUTONNIÈRE MANUELLE
* Utilisez le pied pour boutonnière automatique jusqu'à 45
mm (1 3/4") de long, mais n'abaissez pas le levier pour
boutonnière, sinon un bip retentira.
* U t i l i s e z l e p i e d p o u r p o i n t b o u r d o n p o u r c r é e r d e s
boutonnières plus grandes.
* Marquez soigneusement la longueur de la boutonnière sur
votre vêtement. Placez le tissu avec la boutonnière marquée
sous le pied pour boutonnière. Faites glisser le pied vers
l'avant de façon que l'aiguille perce le tissu au début de la
boutonnière.
PROCÉDURE
1. Démarrez la machine pour former le premier point d'arrêt et
le côté gauche de la boutonnière.
2. Cousez un deuxième point d'arrêt et cousez vers l'arrière
jusqu'à ce que l'aiguille atteigne le début de la boutonnière.
3. Cousez vers l'avant jusqu'à la fin de la marque de
boutonnière pour terminer la boutonnière.
4. Appuyez sur l'interrupteur de point arrière pour nouer les
points.
REMARQUE: Si vous réglez manuellement la longueur
de point à 0,75 (mm) pour l'étape 1, réglez la longueur
de point à 0,75 (mm) pour l'étape 3 aussi.
