Pull the cartridge straight out and use the handle to lift it off the guides.

Set the cartridge on a clean, flat surface in the upright position.
Warning:
When removing cartridges from the printer, be careful not to touch the photoconductor
on the bottom of the cartridge.

Release the latches to open the multipurpose feeder all the way.

Remove the old image transfer unit.

Raise the lever to unlock the image transfer unit.
