IQ 6 Dark Image or Black Image

Description
The printed image is dark.

Check and Cause
1. Identify if the problem is caused
by the Scanner or the LSU / Xero-
graphics.
2. No charge voltage.
3. Check shading profile.
4. Check for CIS problem on the
Main PBA.
5. Charge voltage is not turned on
due to bad contact between the
power supply in the side of the
Developer and charge terminal of
HVPS.

Solution
1. Perform pattern test,
tern is good, check the scanner. If
pattern is bad.
Check the LSU:
-
PL 1.0
(Workcentre PE220)
- PL 1.1 (Phaser 3200).
2. Clean the high voltage charge
terminal.
3. Perform the shading test,
4. Check the CIS FFC Cable is
properly connected.
5. Check the connections between
the main PBA and HVPS.
Check and install new parts as nec-
essary:
