Store Preset

Use the STORE PRESET command to save any
changes you make to a Global Preset, a Style
Preset or a Song Preset (for information regard-
ing Song Presets, refer to the Song chapter in
the Reference Guide). The changes made to the
Global Presets and Style Presets are inter-
changeable, that is, you can save a modified Glo-
bal Preset to a Style Preset and vice versa. A
modified Song Preset can be saved only to the
Song Presets. In all cases, you can create a
completely new Preset and change its name. The
modifications that you make to your Presets
(sound change, keyboard mode, effect assign-
ments and settings, track volumes, Style tempo,
etc.) can be saved either to the same Preset or
to any of the other Preset locations.
1. Press STORE PRESET to open the «Store Pre-
set» dialog window.
If SINGLE TOUCH PLAY is off, the destina-
tion suggested will be a Global Preset loca-
tion ("G.Preset").
If SINGLE TOUCH PLAY is on, the destina-
tion suggested will be a Style-Preset loca-
tion ("Preset").
2. Press ENTER to save to the current Preset,
OR
Select a different Preset location to save to
before pressing ENTER.
SAVING TO THE SAME PRESET
With ENTER, the changes are memorized to
the current Preset and the display returns to
the modified Preset display. Each time this
Preset is recalled, it will configure PS/GPS
with precisely the same settings are those
memorized.
If you press ESCAPE, you will to cancel Store
operation, but the temporary status of the new
Preset will be retained, until you select an-
other Preset.
