Song

The SONG button allows you to select any
SONGS that you may already have loaded to
memory from Disk or Hard Disk. From the same
button, you can also enter Song Record mode
by selecting an empty User Song.
Let's first examine how to select a Song and play
it back. This section also offers a number of play-
back options.
LOAD SONGS TO MEMORY
If you haven't already loaded any Songs to RAM
memory, insert a floppy disk containing some
songs into the Disk drive and press the DISK
button. You can also load from the Hard Disk,
just select the Hard Disk option, (F2), after press-
ing DISK.
Select LOAD SINGLE SONG and press ENTER.
Select a BLOCK file and press ENTER again to
enter the Song directory. Select a Song and RAM
destination and press ENTER to load.
Refer to the DISK chapter for illustrated instruc-
tions of the Load file operation.

SONG PLAYBACK

Once you've loaded your Song(s), press the
SONG button to open the SONG BANKS selec-
tion window.
Select the Song with the corresponding Soft but-
ton to enter Song Playback mode. The display
shows the Time/Tempo window, where you can
modify some playback parameters.
If you want to see the sounds assigned to the
tracks of the Song Preset, press the SoundView
button, (F5) and use the Track scroll buttons to
bring other tracks into view. Return to the Time/
Tempo window with button F6.
Start the playback with the PLAY button in the
32 TRACK SEQUENCER. During the playback,
the LED on the PLAY button will be on and the
song location pointer (LOC) in the top right hand
corner of the display monitors the position of the
Song. You can also start the SONG with the
START/STOP button.
Using the PLAY, STOP, >> (FORWARD) and <<
(REWIND) buttons in conjunction with the song
