Introduction

The LBB4114/00 Trunk Cable Splitter is used to split
the DCN trunk to achieve a neat and tidy layout of the
system and its connected equipment.
11.2
Controls, connectors and
indicators
The trunk cable splitter (see figure 11.1) contains the
following:
1 DCN socket (tap-off 1) - A female, 6-pole, circular
socket to create a tap-off. The signal is automatically
regenerated (see section 11.3).
2 DCN socket (tap-off 2) - A female, 6-pole,
circular socket to create a tap-off. The signal is
automatically regenerated (see section 11.3).
3 DCN cable - A 2 m long cable to connect the trunk
cable splitter to the system. The cable is terminated
with a moulded, male, 6-pole, circular connector (see
section 11.3).
4 DCN socket (trunk) - A female, 6-pole, circular
socket to loop the trunk cable splitter through in the
system (see section 11.3).

Connections

This section gives an overview of typical system
connections using the trunk cable splitter:
Looping the trunk through (see figure 11.2).
Creating tap-offs (see figure 11.2).

11.4

Mounting

The trunk cable splitter has two screw holes for
mounting purposes.
