Connections

4.3.1
Introduction
This section gives an overview of typical system
connections using the interpreter desk:
Connecting to the system (see section 4.3.2).
Connecting a headset (see section 4.3.3).
Connecting headphones (see section 4.3.4).
Connecting external devices (see section 4.3.5).
4.3.2
Connecting to the system
Use the DCN cable (see figure 4.3) to connect the
interpreter desk to the system. The DCN socket is used
to loop the interpreter desk through.

4.3.3
On the left side of the desk, a headset can be connected
(see figure 4.2). The headset socket is intended for
IEC 268-11 compliant headsets with a 5-pole 180° DIN
connector.
