4.3 How to Preprocess and Display Images

The number of cameras connected to the PV310 and the location to which an image is stored
1.
Capture an image with a camera. Set a camera mode by selecting "ENVIRONMENT" > "Initial
Settings" > "Camera Mode" from the menu bar. See page 57.
2.
You can select an image to be displayed on the monitor screen from the images in the table below.
Press the B key and select "Display Camera Image". Refer to page 57.
Option
Type of display camera image
Live image
The current image. An image moves in real-time. If the lens is covered with your
hands, a blacken image will be captured.
Memory image
The image stored in a memory for inspection. Unlike a live image, the images do
not change in real-time.

You can view the following two types of images on the monitor by pressing the B key and then
selecting "Display Gray Value/Binary". See page 54.

Gray-scale image
The image of the selected slice level is displayed. (If you select "Memory or
Live- C1+C2, the Binary Group A to Binary Group H are unavailable.).
