14.2.4 Checking Connections Using I/O Monitor

This function checks for the proper connections by forcibly outputting signals from the output ports and monitoring
the status of the input ports on the screen.
Forcible Outputting to the Output Port
1.
Select "INFO." > "Setting Help" > "I/O Monitor" from the menu bar.
2.
Highlight the name of the signal for forcible output and press the ENTER key.
After a circle in white is added in the cell under the signal name, the signals are forcibly output. Check the
output status using the external device.
3.
Press the ENTER key again.
The circle in white is erased and the signal is reset. Check the output status using the external device.
Monitoring the Input Port
1.
Select "INFO." > "Setting Help" > "I/O Monitor" from the menu bar.
2.
Input signals from the external device.
A circle in white is added in the cell under the input signal name. Check for the correct signal input.
If you press the C key to cancel the I/O monitor while the signals are forcibly output from the PV310, the PV310
automatically stops the forcible output of the signal.
