Heating up the drawer for the
first time
Heat the empty drawer for at least
2 hours. Set the temperature control
to maximum (see "Selecting a tem‐
perature").
The metal components have a protec‐
tive coating which may give off a slight
smell when the drawer is heated up for
the first time. The smell and any va‐
pours will dissipate after a short time,
and do not indicate a faulty connection
or appliance. Ensure that the kitchen is
well ventilated.
