Section 3: Configuration
DDNS (Dynamic Domain Name Server) will hold a DNS host name
and synchronize the public IP address of the modem when it has
been modified. A user name and password are required when using
the DDNS service.
Enable DDNS:
Check the box to Enable the DDNS function.
Server Address:
Enter the Server Address manually or select
your Dynamic DNS provider from the drop-down
menu.
Host Name:
Enter the Host Name of the DDNS server.
User Name:
Enter the User Name or e-mail used to connect to
your DDNS account.
Password:
Enter the Password used to connect to your DDNS
server account and verify your password.
Timeout:
Enter the DNS Timeout value (in hours) that you
wish to use.
Status:
Displays the connection status, which is
automatically determined by the system.
Click Save Settings to save your changes.
