Section 4 - Configuration
Dynamic DNS (Domain Name System) allows you to access your camera using a domain name instead of an IP address. To do this, you need to have
an account with one of the DDNS services listed in the drop-down menu on this page.
DDNS Enable:
Check this box to enable the DDNS function.
Server Address:
Select your Dynamic DNS Server from the drop-down menu.
Host Name:
Enter the Host Name of the DDNS server.
User Name:
Enter your User Name or e-mail address used to connect to the DDNS server.
Password:
Enter the Password you use to connect to the DDNS server.
Timeout:
You can control how frequently the camera notifies the DDNS server of its global
IP address by entering a number, in hours, used to trigger periodic updates.
Status:
Displays the connection status as Enabled or Disabled.
Click the Save Settings button to save your changes.
