The following softwares are provided for application development.
Software
EPSON Advanced Printer Driver (APD Ver.5):
The Windows printer driver dedicated to TM-
T88V-DT(TM-T88V). This is preinstalled in this prod-
uct.
EPSON Advanced Printer Driver (APD Ver.4)
The Windows printer driver for a TM printer and a
customer display controlled by TM-T88V-DT.
This is not preinstalled in this product. Install the
software if necessary.

EPSON OPOS ADK
This OCX driver can control POS peripherals
using OLE technology
POS peripherals with original commands is not
required on the application side, efficient sys-
tem development is possible.
EPSON OPOS ADK for .NET
OPOS ADK for .NET is a Microsoft POS for .NET
compliant business standard driver that allows
you to develop applications that are compati-
ble with UPOS (UnifiedPOS). When developing
applications, use a separate development envi-
ronment such as Microsoft Visual Studio .NET.
*1: This is not provided with this product. You need to download the software to use it.
*2: OLE technology developed by Microsoft divides software into part blocks. The OPOS
driver is presupposed to be used with a development environment such as Visual
Basic, unlike ordinary Windows drivers. It is not a driver to be used for printing from
commercial applications.
*3: This guide describes not only Epson-specific functions, but also general information on
how to control printers using the OPOS ADK (in the chapter POS Printer and
Appendix).
