Troubleshooting
Problem
Power ON/OFF - Printer not working (continued)
Printer frequently powers OFF.
Printer is not responding
Error - "Cut while printing"
Printing from PC

Cause
Battery is low.
Battery is dead.
Operating cutter while labels are
still printing.

The BMP 21-PLUS/BMP
LAB printer CANNOT be
connected to a PC. You cannot print
PC label files on the BMP21-
®
PLUS/BMP 21-LAB printer.
Corrective Action
Note: The printer is programmed to
shut off automatically after 10
minutes of inactivity.
Install 6 fresh AA batteries.
OR
Attach the AC Adapter to the
printer and plug into an electrical
outlet. This will supply immediate
power.
If using the lithium ion battery,
remove the battery from the printer
and recharge using the AC adapter.
To use the printer while the lithium
ion battery is being recharged on
the AC adapter, insert 6 AA
alkaline batteries in the battery
compartment, or purchase a second
AC adapter to power the printer
while the battery is charging.
If using the lithium ion battery,
remove the battery from the printer
and recharge on the AC adapter.
To use the printer while the lithium
ion battery is recharging, install 6
new AA batteries in the battery
compartment.
Cut through the material
