Turn On Hotspot

3. Touch Configure for options:
Network SSID: Enter a name for your phone. This name will be displayed in the other
device's Wi-Fi networks listing.
Hide my device: Do not display your phone's name in the other device's Wi-Fi networks
listing.
Security: Set the network connection to Open (no security) or WPA2 PSK (requires a
password).
Password: Enter a security password.
Touch Show password to display the password.
Show advanced options:
Broadcast channel: Select 2.4 GHz or 5 Ghz as the broadcast channel. If 2.4 GHz is
selected, touch Auto to select a different channel (one to six).
Maximum connections: Select the number of connections allowed (maximum of eight).
4. Press

Timeout settings: Set the amount of time your device will be available as a portable Wi-Fi
hotspot.
LAN settings: Configure your LAN settings.

Bluetooth Settings

Bluetooth is a short-range wireless communications technology for exchanging information over a
distance of about 30 feet. You don't need to line up the devices to send information with Bluetooth. If the
devices are in range, you can exchange information between them, even if they are in different rooms.
Your phone can use Bluetooth to share photos, contacts and other content with other Bluetooth devices.
Many of the apps on your phone provide options for sharing via Bluetooth under
Settings
