PROBLEM
Image off-center.

LIKELY CAUSE
Position controls (arrow keys)
or the Hpos/Vpos controls
in the menus.
1. The default resolution for all
images larger than 1024 x 768
is 1024 x 768.
2. Compatibility problem.
The full 800 x 600 image is
displayed in 1024 x 768 mode.
The black area is not used.
Incorrect interlace signal
selected.
CONTRAST is out of
adjustment.
1. Video source(s).
2. Loose/improper cabling.

2. CONTRAST setting may be
too low.
Video signal level too high.
Ambiguity in video signal.
POSSIBLE SOLUTION(S)
Adjust position controls. If
image will not center, check for
compatibility problems.
1. Press the Fit-to-View key to
see the entire image, or use
the arrow keys to pan the
image.
2. Make sure your system is
compatible with the standards
listed in Appendix A.
The projector is functioning
normally. Disregard.
Select the opposite interlace
signal (even/odd).
Adjust SYNC, BRIGHTNESS,
or CONTRAST settings.
1. Check video source(s)
(composite or S-Video) for
power and proper
operation.
2. Secure cabling between video
source(s) and projector.
1. Check for faulty video source,
bad connection, or frayed
cable.
2. Adjust CONTRAST level.
Adjust CONTRAST level.
Activate Input Source menu and
select SECAM as the video
source mode.
