One YearLimitedWarranty
Broan-NuTonewarrants to the original consumer purchaser of its products
that such products will be free from defectsin materials or workmanship for a
periodof one (1) yearfrom the dateof original purchase.THERE ARENOOTHER
WARRANTIES,EXPRESSOR IMPLIED, INCLUDING,BUT NOT LIMITED TO,
IMPLIEDWARRANTIES OFMERCHANTABILITY ORFITNESS FORA PARTICULAR
PURPOSE.
During this one year period, Broan-NuTone will, at its option, repair or replace,
without charge,any product or part which is found to be defectiveunder normal
use and service. THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT EXTENDTO FLUORESCENT
LAMP STARTERS,TUBES, HALOGENAND INCANDESCENT BULBS, FUSES,
FILTERS,DUCTS,ROOFCAPS,WALL CAPSAND OTHERACCESSORIES FOR
DUCTING.This warranty does not cover (a) normal maintenanceand service
or (b) any products or parts which have been subject to misuse, negligence,
accident, improper maintenanceor repair (other than by Broan-NuTone),faulty
installation or installation contrary to recommendedinstallation instructions.
The duration of any impliedwarranty is limited to the oneyear periodas specified
for the expresswarranty. Some states do not allow limitation on how long an
implied warranty lasts,so the above limitation may not applyto you.
BROAN-NUTONE'SOBLIGATION TO REPAIR OR REPLACE, AT BROAN-
NUTONE'SOPTION, SHALL BE THE PURCHASER'S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE
REMEDYUNDERTHIS WARRANTY.BROAN-NUTONE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE
FORINCIDENTAL, C ONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIALDAMAGESARISINGOUTOF
ORIN CONNECTION WITH PRODUCT USEOR PERFORMANCE. Somestates do
not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequentialdamages,so
the above limitation or exclusion may not applyto you. This warranty givesyou
specificlegal rights, andyou may also haveother rights, which vary from state to
state.This warrantysupersedesall prior warranties.
To qualify for warranty service, you must (a) notify Broan-NuTone at the address
or telephone number below, (b) give the model number and part identification
and (c) describethe nature of any defect in the product or part. At the time of
requestingwarranty service,you must presentevidenceof the original purchase
date.
