Enabling System Security

Once you have entered and confirmed your password, you must
Enable Secure
enable the password security feature by following the steps listed

Check the current status of the password security feature
by entering the
show secure
prompt as follows:
show secure

SECURE = OFF
A zero response indicates that the password security
feature is not enabled.
Enable the password security feature with the following
command:
set secure on

SECURE = ON
