Tune to a station.
There are three ways to do this:
l
Automatic
tuning
To search for stations in the currently selected band,
press and hold either the 44 or w
button for about
a second. The system will start searching for the next
station, stopping when it has found one. Repeat this step
to search for other stations. Every time searching stops
on a station, the Y1 (tuned) indicator lights in the
display.
l
Manual
tuning
To change the frequency one step at a time, press the
++ / m buttons. When you locate a station signal,
the y' (tuned) indicator lights in the display.
l
High-speed tuning
Press and hold the *
or w
button for high speed
tuning, releasing the button once you reach the
frequency you want. When you stop on a station signal,
the yfl (tuned) indicator lights in the display.
Improving FM stereo sound
If you're listening to a stereo FM broadcast, but find that
there is a lot of noise because of a weak signal, try
switching to mono.

Press MONO
(SHIFTU)
to switch between
mono and stereo.
When listening in mono, the 0 indicator lights in the
display.
Saving station presets
If you often listen to a particular radio station, it's
convenient to have the receiver store the frequency for
easy recall whenever you want to listen to that station.
This saves the effort of manually tuning in each time.
This system can save up to 30 station presets. When
saving FM frequencies, the receiver also saves the mono
setting (see Improving FM stereo sound above).

Pour rechercher des stations sur la bande actuellement
sdlectionn&e, appuyez et maintenez enfoncbe la touche

pendant une seconde. L'appareil
dimarrera la recherche de la station suivante, en
s'arr&ant quand il en aura trouv4 une. R&p&ez cette
op&ation pour rechercher d'autres stations. Chaque fois
que la recherche s'arrete sur une station, l'indicateur
Y"' (accord@ s'allume sur l'affichage.

Pour modifier la frkquence un pas i la fois, appuyez sur
les touches ++ / w.
@and vous localisez un signal
de station, l'indicateur Y" (accord&) s'allume sur
l'dficheur.

haute vitesse
Appuyez et maintenez enfoncke la touche 44 ou w
pour accorder h haute vitesse) en rel2chant la touche
une fois que vous aver atteint la frkquence souhait6e.
En vous arr&ant sur un signal de station, l'indicateur
't"O (accord&) s'allume sur l'affichage.
Am&borer ie son FM st&bo
Si vous 6coutez une 6mission FM St&r&o, mais vous
trouvez qu'il y a beaucoup de parasites i cause du
signal qui est faible, essayez de passer en mono.

Appuyez sur MONO
(SHIFT&S)
pour com-
muter entre mono et st&Go.
Si vous 6coutez en mono, l'indicateur 0 s'allume sur
l'affichage.
Mbmorisation
de stations pr&kglbes
Si vous 6coutez souvent une station de radio en
particulier, il est commode de mkmoriser la friquence
pour la rappeler plus facilement toutes les fois que vous
souhaitez &outer cette station. Ceci vous &ite de fidire
l'accord manuellement i chaque fois. Cet appareil peut
mkmoriser un maximum de 30 stations prt?%gl&es.
En
