6. REPAIRS
6-1. Removal of the main parts
(1) Removal of the cabinet
a) Turnover the machine and remove three screws
securing the cabinet. (Fig. 6-1 )
b) Open the operation panel and recording paper
cover, then remove two screws securing the
cabinet. (Fig. 6-2)
c) Remove the connectors
CN32, 33, 34 located on
NCU PCB (M-3). (Fig. 6-3)
d) Remove the cabinet.
(2) Removal of the back lid.
a) Turnover the machine and remove four screws
securing the back lid. (Fig. 6-1)
(3) Removal of the main PCB (M-1 )
a) Remove the back lid. (Refer to the procedure
6-l-(2))
b) Remove the connectors
CN2, CN4, CN5, CN6,
CN7, CN9, CNI 1 and CNI B on the main PCB
(M-l).
(Fig. 6-4)
c) Remove four screws securing the main PCB (M-1)
and the metal blacket. (Fig. 6-5)
d) Remove the main PCB (M-1 ).(Fig. 6-6)

Removal of the Power Supply PCB (M-7)
a) Remove the back lid.
(Refer to the procedure 6-1-(2))
b) Remove a screw securing Power Supply PCB
(M-7). (Fig. 6-4)
c) Remove two connectors
CN1 and CN1 O located
on the Power Supply PCB (M-7). (Fig. 6-4)
Removal of the NCU PCB (M-3), TEL PCB (M-5) and
SUB PCB (M-6)
a) Remove the cabinet.
(Refer to the procedure 6-1 -(1) and 6-1 -(2))
b) Remove the back lid.
(Refer to the procedure 6-1-(2))
c) Remove the MAIN PCB (M-l).
(Refer to the procedure 6-1-(3))
d) Turnover the unit.
e) Remove three fixers for the TEL PCB and remove
the TEL PCB (M-5).
f) Remove the SUB PCB (M-6).
g) Remove one screw securing the NCU PCB (N
(Fig. 6-3)
Removal of the Operation
Panel PCB (M-2) and
a) Remove the cabinet.
(Refer to the procedure 6-1 -(1))
b) Remove the back lid.
(Refer to the procedure 6-1-(2))
c) Remove the connector CN2 located on main
PCB (M-l). (Fig. 6-4)
