6. REPAIRS
6-1. Removal of the main parts
(1)Removal of the right and left Cabinet.

Open the operfion
panel. (Fig. 6-1)
Press the open button to open the reception cover.
Remove two(2) screws securing the right cabinet.
(Fig. 6-1)
Remove the right cabinet while holding up the front
side.
Pay attention to the scratch of the wires while
removing it.
Remove three(3) screws securing the left cabinet.

(2) Removal of the transmission mechanical unit.
a) Remove two screws securing the bottom cover.

Remove the right and left cabinet (Refer to 6-1-(1))
Remove two screws securing the transmission
mechanical unit. (Fig. 6-3)

Disconnect the connectors (CN6, 7, 2/1, 2/2, 2/3,
on main board (M-1)) and CN54 on the power sup-
ply board (M-5) while holding up the transmission
mechanical unit. (Fig. 6-5)
(3) Removal of the receiving mechanical unit
a) Remove the right and left cabinet. (Refer to 6-1 -(l))
b) Remove
three
screws
securing
the receiving
mechanical unit. (Fig. 6-4)

c) Disconnect the connectors (CN5, CN6 on main
board (M-l)) and (CN52, CN53 on the power supply
board
(M-5))
while
holding
up the receiving
mechanical unit (Fig. 6-5)

(4) Removal of the main PCB (M-1)
a) Remove the right and left cabinet (Refer to 6-1 -(l))
b) Remove the transmission mechanical unit (Refer to
6-1 -(2))
c) Disconnect the connectors
CN3,
CN5 and CN8 on
_
the main PCB (M-l). (Fig. 6-5)
d) Remove two screws securing the main PCB (M-l).

e) The main PCB (M-1) and the power supply PCB (M-
5) are directry connected through the connector.
So, When removing the M-1, lift up the left side of
M-1 while pressing down the M-5.
(5) Removal of the power supply PCB (M-5)
a) Remove the right and left cabinet (Refer to 6-1 -(1))
b) Remove the transmission mechanical unit. (Refer to
6-1 -(2))
c) Remove the main board (M-l). (Refer to 6-1 -(4))
d) Disconnect the CN52, CN53, and CN55 on the
potver supply board (M-5). (Fig. 6-5)
e) Remove a screw securing earth wire. (Fig. 6-5)
(6) Removal of the NCU PCB (M-3)
a) Remove the right and left cabinet (Refer to 6-1 -(1))
b) Remove the receiving mechanical unit, then remove
three screws securing the M-3. (Fig. 6-5)

c) Disconnect the CN31, CN33, and CN34 on the M-3.

(7) Removal of the Tel. PCB (M-4).
a) Remove the right and left cabinet. (Refer to 6-1 -(l))
b) Disconnect the CN41, CN42, and CN43 on the M-4.
(Fig. 6-5)
c) Remove three screws securing both the M-4 and
the earth wire. (Fig. 6-5)
