1.3.1 Installing the battery

Insert the battery, then plug the connector.

Close the battery cover.

1.3.2 Replacing the battery
If "Recharge" is displayed even when the
battery has been fully charged, the battery must
be replaced. Please use only Panasonic
battery. See page 5 for accessory information.
Important:
L Charge the new battery for about 10 hours
before initial use.
L Use only a rechargeable battery. If you
install a non-rechargeable battery and
start charging, the battery may leak
electrolyte.

Press the notch on the cover firmly and slide
it in the direction of the arrow.

Unplug the connector, then remove the old
battery.

Install the new battery. See the battery
installation procedure.
